Our Staff

The staff at Genesis Counseling Services is comprised of a group of caring professionals from diverse backgrounds. Most counselors have master's degrees in counseling or a closely related field. Some staff members hold licensure in the field of mental health or social work as well. Several staff members are Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors per new state regulations that went into effect in the fall of 2003.

We utilize the services of a consulting psychiatrist with years of expertise in the field of substance abuse on a weekly basis, and more often as needed. All client cases are reviewed prior to treatment and clinical consulting is provided for more challenging clinical concerns.

All of our staff is united in their commitment to making a difference in the lives of our clients by supporting them in addressing their problem with alcohol/drugs and identifying what needs to change. Combined we have decades of experience in the field of substance abuse which uniquely qualifies us to best serve the needs of this challenging, rewarding and often misunderstood population.
