Meet Our Team

 

 Lisa Robideau: 

Serves as the President and Clinical Director of Genesis Counseling Services, Inc.  Opening the agency with her partner, Bill Horne, on 10/2/95, Lisa has worked to ensure that Genesis provides the highest quality of substance abuse treatment in the MetroWest area.  She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Relations from Harvard College in 1981 and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State College in 1996.  Lisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.  In addition to managing the operations of the agency, Lisa also sees individual clients and facilitates an ongoing women’s substance abuse treatment group for Genesis.

 Janet Horne:      

Serves as the Administrative Director of Genesis Counseling Services, Inc.  She started working at Genesis in 2000 as the office manager and was promoted to Administrative Director in 2003.  Janet has a degree in business from the Chandler School and has previous experience in business and personnel management.  Janet is responsible for all administrative and billing issues for the agency and manages the front office.  She is most often the person who answers the phone during the day and is happy to help you with your treatment scheduling related questions.

 Sandy Hilcoff:      

Has provided office support at Genesis since July of 2004.  He received his Bachelor’s in Sociology from The University of New Haven in 1974.  He has previous experience working with community organizations and has a wealth of experience working in customer service.  Sandy provides afternoon and evening desk coverage for the agency.  His warm and friendly manner helps to create an inviting treatment environment for all who call or come to Genesis.

 

 Colin Knox:        

Colin got his bachelors degree from The New University of Ulster in Psychology (BSc) in 1982. He then went on to receive his masters in counseling from Framingham State College in 2008. He has worked with Genesis as an intern and has since gone on to take a full-time position. He also worked at Correctional MH starting in 2008, working in treatment units and with inmates who were unable to manage themselves on a daily basis. He is currently the Coordinator of a unit that deals with personality disordered clients who have a history of assaultive and disruptive behaviors. He also shares an interest in trauma treatment and substance abuse.

 

 Scott Callaghan:

Scott

Scott is a clinician at Genesis Counseling Services.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UMass Dartmouth in 2010 and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State in 2013.  Scott has focused all his prior experience and education towards addictions and substance abuse counseling. He has worked in a variety of different settings with various populations.  He has worked inpatient, outpatient, residential, in home and school settings.  Scott has a solid background and expertise in Dual Diagnosis, Substance Abuse, Adolescent Psychology, and Developmental Disorders.
